Jimmy's Egg...

In Enid, while visiting my family,
I had the wonderful pleasure of
eating, not ONCE, not TWICE,
but SEVERAL times at:

Jimmy's Egg. It is located at
2126 North Van Buren and has the
BEST food I have ever tasted.
The portions way more than you
can eat, a little bag to take home
for later. Delicious.

And the service you ask?
Wonderful waitresses and waiters.
You coffee cup is never empty.
Your tea glass is always full.

You know the handsome man on the Left,
My brother Ted. (He was sporting the rough look
that morning. Love it.) The gentleman on the right
is Mohammad. He is the Owner and Manager of
this wonderful establishment. Doesn't he have
the warmest smile? His laughter is
contagious. I so enjoyed visiting with him.

He has a beautiful wife, who is expecting
this next year, and they have two of the
cutest little boys you have ever seen.

Just look at this delightful plate.
A spinach omelette and fresh fruit.
Something for every appetite
and diet, even the kids.

This is one of their specialties.
Believe me they taste as good as
they look. Their fruit topping is TDF.

What's that you say Mohammad?
Okay... Okay... I have got to tell you my MOST
favorite of all. Chicken strips - oh so good.
Home made gravy, french fries and even
HOMEMADE bread. Oh I can smell that
bread Mohammad. It was the best.
SORRY,
No picture, I ate it as soon as it came
to the table. Not a picture one.

And the BEST part of all?
NOT alot of dollars. Very
reasonably priced menu.

If you make it to Enid. Please
stop by Jimmy's egg. Ask if
Mohammad is working, and if he
is, tell him Sherry from Phoenix
sent you. He will laugh and laugh.

And if you check out the booth in
the back southeast corner of the
restaraunt, you might see my
handsome brother, Ted eating
his breakfast. He's a regular.

As always,
thank you for stopping by,
my little piece of heaven,
here in the desert,
that I so love to call home.
Country hugs and much love,

Oh, yummy! One day ... Teddy looks like a cowboy rough & ready guy. I know how you love those chicken srips!

A really rough morning. Still having a toxic reaction to the Vit. D3. Surgery for eye @ 6AM tomorrow.

Talk to you tonight sis.

Love you & have a great day ~

We don't ever do out to eat breakfast unless we are on vacation. At home I am not a breakfast person, but get me on vacation, I love it. This looks like they do it well too.

Gosh, this put a BIG smile on my face! Breakfast is like my FAVORITE meal to savor, plus I'm a sucker for spinach omelets.

Don't ya love it when small-business GOOD folks do well?

Myra

Isn't it wonderful when you can find such a great restaurant, complete with terrific food and staff? Mohammed certainly does have a gorgeous smile:-) I think if I lived near there, I'd be a regular too, like your brother! lol Mohammed needs to open up one of his establishments here in Canada! hehe xoxo
