Would you look at these 2 little faces?
They belong to my brother Teddy and ME.
Yes, Ms Country Wings herself.
Teddy's first car, and my first modeling job.
Ha! Ha! Ha! Just look at this gorgeous pedal
Car. Teddy wishes he still had this car.
We took turns pushing each other in it,
SO we could go faster. I remember pushing
and pushing sometimes going in circles.
Each of us would push and push until
We would fall on the ground laughing.
We were born 16 months apart,
So we grew up close, and were playmates
So we grew up close, and were playmates
To each other. We both have fond memories.
Next month I am going to write about
Teddy and I, and our bike adventures.
I am joining

Donna @ Brynwood Needleworks
For Memory Lane Monday.
Here we were while I was home visiting my folks.
We were laughing again, and DH caught me with
My eyes shut, and the wind blowing
My hair every which way.
(A memory doesn't care though.)
Teddy is still SO handsome. I LOVE this guy.
We visit by phone, every night,
Gotta check on each other's day.
Gotta check on each other's day.
I am also joining
Marydon @ Blushing Rose
For Love Is: Monday.
Love is the most precious
thing you can find to give.
And now that we have grown,
Teddy and I continue to give
each other that love. The love of
a sibling. LOTS of laughter.
No tip toe(ing) around,
No worries about what we say.
(We each have an opinion,
And we each respect that.)
Just pure LOVE for each other.
Thank you Teddy for loving me,
Just the way that I am.
As always,
thank you for stopping by,
my little piece of heaven,
here in the desert,
that I so love to call home.
Country hugs and much love,

I always wanted one of those pedal cars. You look darling perched up there. Good times.
Dear Sherry:
How wonderful to have a sibling with whom you can share such special memories. I, too, am fortunate in that regard.
Thank you so much for joining the stroll down Memory Lane today. I hope you have a wonderful week.
xoxo
Hugs,
Donna
What an awesome car and you two are just too cute! Those little cars are worth a lot, these days! I had Thanksgiving with my oldest brother! Thanks for sharing.
Bear Hugs & Blessings~Karen
Had to smile when I saw that car. Somewhere I have a photo of my sister in a car much like Teddy's. ;-)
Glad you two had a nice visit.
I love that you and Teddy are still so close, and chat each evening on the phone. That would be way cool to still have that car, which is why I checked "cool" for this post.
AWWWW what a touching and sweet post my friend, memories are the best :)

That pedal car is awesome! My husband is refinishing one right now at work and I can't wait to see how it turns out. Such a cute picture too!

Just love the petal car and the old wonderful photo!!! I hope my daughter and son will always be close. what a blessing
What a precious photo & memories for the two of you. I can just picture the two of you scurrying around trying to go faster & faster. That little car would be worth a fortune today.
It is so wonderful that brother & you are so close & have such wonderful times together. Love listening to him in the telecon's. Your love for one another is so evident.
How blessed we are to have such a deep bond of ... love is.
Beautiful share, sis.

Oh what SWEET memories of you and your HANDSOME Brother! I love my Brothers too:)
We picked the same Christmas background, love it! Have a blessed evening my friend! I look forward to hearing more stories about you and Teddy! HUGS!
Oh gosh, Sherry ... this brings back memories! What I wouldn't give to have my own little pedal car back. (Course, don't ask what I'd DO with it!)
You're so lucky to have a brother ... who loves you right back!
Hugs,
Myra
Don't mean to sound morbid here - but I lost my brother in 1997 - I miss him!! So glad you have yours.

How sweet -- I love the happy history I share with my two sisters and brother.....isn't it wonderful to have someone to share the memories with?
I hope you don't mind, but I took a candy cane on my way in, lol. THANK YOU SWEET SHERRY.
You have to love the black and white pics. Who cares if your hair is blowing in the wind, at least you are both loving each other and that's what is IMPORTANT in life. Too many siblings are not speaking to each other, or having family feuds. That's what I LOVE to see Miss Sherry. SWEET LOVE.
OMG.. I just noticed the two hands. Here's and his : )
It's been a quiet day today here at the cottage.
Sister Lolotte gave me some "treasures" from my past to place in my beautiful box. I showed her and my sister Deb on Sat. Can't wait.
Love You

What a lucky guy your brother was to have a pedal car like that! And how lucky he is to have a sister like you!
I love your photo with the pedal car - what a treasure! I always wanted to have a brother but I never got one; that is until I married my wonderful hubby who is the oldest of 5 boys! All of a sudden I had 4 brothers and, lucky me, they all eventually married fabulous women! I've never been to Memory Lane Monday but I think I need to check it out!
:-)

How wonderful that you have that picture of you and your brother with the little pedal car:-) Such precious memories!! It warms my heart that you two still have such a close relationship, a true blessing indeed. xoxo
Oh aren't your the sweetest friend! Thanks for the prayers. About the job thing, I guess my patience is at test, but I am trying to press on. So the meantime, I wrote a very short Christmas story for children and submitted it to publishing.. Cross fingers!
I hope you are enjoying decorating your house while listening to Christmas songs! The best!

Aren't you two a couple of cute dumplin' in your peddle car?
I was an only child for about nine years and very spoiled. I not only had a peddle car, but a fire engine and a tractor. Life changed when I grew up! Heeehehe!
God bless ya sweetie and have a marvelous weekend!!! :o)
Oh my gosh--this is precious, Sherry!!! And I want that car!!! lol
Wishing you a fabulous weekend!!
Love,
Cindy
