Twas a Quarter Til Five...



Twas a quarter til five,
When the mail truck arrived.

With a package in tow,

For Ms Country Wings
That you all know.

I hurried inside with my package tucked safe,

I could hardly wait, as I opened in haste.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear?

A beautiful surprise from

And then, I felt a tear.

Oh Ms Lynn,

You're a dear.





My box was crooning with carols,

It had Christmas all over.

Each little item wrapped carefully,

Such color astounded me.



Out popped this hankerchief bag,

She had Christmas all over her,

Even this little tag.
The little girl holds her holly,
Oh she made my heart Jolly.





I had a mitten,

A snowflake,

A swan

And an ornament.

Even stickers,

and vintage music

but wait...

Even Santa included.

Ho...Ho...Ho...



A mussie tussie...

All golden,

With these treasures inside.

Vintage laces

Such an assortment,

And a golden key

To treasure tight.

Yes, Merry Christmas to all...

And to All a Good Night.
